Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox has unleashed their highly anticipated sophomore album, Tsunami Sea, on March 7, 2025, via Pale Chord and Rise Records. This release follows their critically acclaimed debut, Eternal Blue (2021), and two subsequent EPs, Rotoscope (2022) and The Fear of Fear (2023). Tsunami Sea showcases Spiritbox’s evolution, blending metalcore, alternative metal, progressive metal, and djent, while experimenting with spoken word, electronic elements, drum and bass, rock, pop, and EDM.
The album features singles like “Soft Spine,” “Perfect Soul,” and “No Loss, No Love,” each highlighting the band’s versatility and commitment to pushing musical boundaries. To promote the album, Spiritbox embarked on a European headlining tour in February 2025, with performances in Germany, London, Paris, and Tilburg. They are set to begin a North American tour in April 2025, supported by Loathe, Dying Wish, and Gel. Tsunami Sea is now available on major streaming platforms, inviting listeners to experience Spiritbox’s most ambitious work to date.
